Our company has built a reputation as one of the most innovative, ground breaking and experimental studios producing work for feature films, short films, commercials and music videos.
Bogalakon Pictures might best well known as a production company who produced the first Indonesian football supporters documentary trilogy directed by Andibachtiar Yusuf. Known as Jakarta Is Mine and Hardline, those two earlier parts of the trilogy has strike several major and minor film festivals in Europe and South America. Hardline was selected as an Official Element of World Cup 2006. The third and most compelling part of the trilogy, The Jak will be released soon.
Bogalakon Pictures was established in 27 August 2005, consisting of individuals who are willing to dedicate their life and emotion in filmmaking. As an independent production company, Bogalakon Pictures set its business as a mixture of industry, idealism, professionalism and for the love of art. Numerous independent productions which all of them were shorts films have been made as well as several corporate videos.
Bogalakon Pictures has a wealth of expertise in mixing live action with animation and houses a highly experience team of directors, producers, visual effects supervisors, art directors and CG artists. Recent examples of this type of work include Kotex, Rexona, Pepsodent, Lifebuoy commercials and more others from other leading brands. Our studio also covers graphic arts projects. Smarties, Paddle Pop, Choki-Choki comics were also some examples.
Bogalakon Pictures is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Company is managed by executive producer Amir Pohan and managing director/head of production Andibachtiar Yusuf. The commercial division is headed up by Edmond Waworuntu.
